A service that allows registered mail to be sent to blind people, weighing up to 7 kg.
Service description
The service is intended for the transport of documents written in tactile font or audio recordings for the personal use of blind people, provided that the sender or recipient is blind or is an institution for the blind.

Price list
Recommended blind mail weighing up to 7 kg is exempt from basic service charges. This basic postal service and related additional services and surcharges are exempt from VAT.
Frequently asked questions about cash on Delivery without a receipt
You can find out the price for services using the calculator on the Czech Post website or in the price list of services.
Products with the option of cash on delivery include: Registered letter, Registered letter – standard, Insured letter, Registered Mail for the blind, EMS parcel, Insured Parcel, Registered parcel.
When submitting items at a branch, you must have a completed new postage slip "PL" (Forms and Printouts) or a new postage sheet for multiple items "PA," or its new electronic form "ePA."
When using a postage sheet, only one selected payment method is possible for the payment of selected cash on delivery items.
Cash on delivery parcels can be posted at any Czech Post office. In addition to the recipient's and sender's details, it is important to write "DOBÍRKA" (cash on delivery) on the parcel and state the amount in figures that you require the recipient to pay upon delivery.

You can choose to pay the collected cash on delivery amount in cash or to a bank account.
You can prepare a cash on delivery shipment online via the Pošta Online website. After entering the details, you will be able to print out the address label. You will also receive a code to present at the post office. After paying the price at the post office, you will receive confirmation of shipment to the specified email address.
Can't print? Then copy the address from the label onto the shipment and write the shipping code above the recipient's address.
You can track your cash on delivery shipment by entering the shipment tracking number on the Shipment Tracking page.
As the sender, you will receive the cash on delivery payment by cash payment slip for cash collection no later than 3 business days after delivery of the shipment to the recipient.
You can pay cash on delivery by card or cash to the parcel delivery service. For letter mail, cash on delivery can only be paid in cash. The recipient also has the option of picking up the shipment at the post office and paying cash on delivery by card or cash.
If the cash on delivery payment has not been made, you can file a complaint either in person at a branch or electronically on the Czech Post website (Track Shipment section).
The shipment will be returned to the sender. In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt, the sender will be notified and the shipment will be stored at the storage post office.
Method of payment
Submission
- Submissions can be made at any post office or to authorized postal workers.
- It is advisable to mark the parcel with a sticker or note in the upper right corner saying "Slepecká zásilka" (Mail for the Blind) – you can obtain this at any post office at no extra cost.
- The sender's address must be indicated in the upper left quarter of the address side of the shipment.
- The shipment must be packaged in such a way that it is possible to check whether its contents comply with the shipping conditions without damaging the packaging.
- The sender submits the posting data online via the Send Shipment, Online Posting, or API interface applications, or fills out the pre-printed Posting Slip or Posting Sheet in electronic or paper form.

All registered blind parcels are marked with a barcode, which makes them easier to send and offers a number of advantages:

For contract customers
The postal service offers contractual customers:
- a simpler method of paying for shipments, either on the basis of a written agreement concluded in advance on cashless payment for postal services or via a franking machine.
- collection of shipments directly from the sender's premises, again on the basis of a written agreement concluded in advance.

If you submit your shipment in the form of a data file, you can use this service to reduce your administrative burden. The service significantly speeds up the receipt of payments for cash on delivery shipments.
