International Registered Mail for the Blind
A service through which registered shipments with documents for blind people can be sent abroad, up to a weight of 7 kg.
What can be sent?
- The service is intended for the transport of documents for the personal use of blind persons, provided that the sender or addressee is a blind person or a legal entity whose business is to provide services to blind persons or to satisfy or protect their interests.

All shipments are transported "priority".
Submission
- The shipment can be submitted at the post office or to an authorized postal worker.
- It is advisable to mark the shipment with a sticker or note Blind Shipment in the upper right corner – you can obtain his at any post office at no extra charge.
- The sender's address must be indicated in the upper left quarter of the address side of the shipment.
- The shipment must be packaged in such a way that it is possible to check whether its contents comply with the shipping conditions without damaging the packaging.
- The sender fills in the pre-printed Postage Slip, Postage Sheet in electronic or paper form, or submits the data electronically via the Send Shipment, Online Posting, API interface, or Data File applications.
- The post office will confirm the shipment to the sender in the proof of posting.
- The shipment is always transported by priority mail.
- The shipment must be marked with a note or sticker "Prioritaire" upon posting.
Delivery
The shipment will be delivered by the foreign post office only if the recipient confirms receipt.
If the foreign post office is unable to deliver the postal item, it will return it to the sender and indicate on the item the reason why it was not delivered.
Complaints
Complaints regarding the delivery of an item or the failure of the post office to fulfill another obligation can be made at any post office within six months of posting. The post office will only accept a complaint if the complainant presents the original proof of posting.

- a simpler method of paying for shipments, either on the basis of a written agreement concluded in advance on cashless payment for postal services or via a franking machine.
- collection of shipments directly from the sender's premises, again on the basis of a written agreement concluded in advance.
