How to address a parcel correctly

1. The postal address on the postal item must be written in Latin characters, legibly, clearly, in sufficiently large letters and without rewriting; if the postal address is typed, printed on a computer, etc., the font size must not be smaller than 0.25 cm. If the postal address is handwritten, the addressee's name must be written in block letters. The postal code and the name of the relevant post office must not be underlined.
2. The postal address must be written in such a way that it cannot be erased, altered, or become illegible. In particular, it must not be written in pencil, carbon paper, or carbon copy. The postal address of the addressee must not be written in red ink or with a medium containing luminescent dye.
3. The postal addresses of the recipient and sender must be written lengthwise on the side of the postal item that is most suitable for this purpose in terms of size, layout, etc. The minimum permissible dimensions of this side are 14 x 9 cm; cylindrical postal items are permissible provided that their length is at least 14 cm and their diameter is at least 3 cm. Postal addresses may not be written on the side of the envelope with the flaps.
4. The company is entitled to place its notes relating to the provision of postal services on the surface of postal items, affix its stickers to them, and affix postage stamps and its stamps, including advertising stamps, to the surface of postal items. The postal item may bear a file number or other similar note from the sender relating to its contents.
5. The postal item must be prepared in such a way that postage stamps can be affixed and it can be handled in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 (see above). For this purpose, a label measuring at least 14 x 9 cm may also be affixed to the postal item. If such modification is not possible for serious reasons, an address label approved by the company may be used; it must be firmly attached to the postal item.
6. Address details, postage stamps, and notes are placed on the appropriate area as follows:
   1. the recipient's postal address in the lower right quarter,
   2. postage stamps in the upper right quarter,
   3. the sender's postal address in the upper left quarter; below it, notes or stickers relating to the selected postal service, the contents of the postal item, or how the postal item should be handled.
