Data mailbox activation
Data mailbox activation
How can I apply for a data mailbox?
Natural persons, sole traders, and legal entities that are not registered in the commercial register or established by law may apply for a data mailbox. If you have a data mailbox established by law, you do not need to apply for it; it will be set up automatically.
Setting up a data mailbox is free of charge. The easiest way is to request the creation of a data mailbox at a Czech POINT contact point.
You can also request a data mailbox:
In person - Submit the completed application to the Digital and Information Agency (DIA) reception desk.
By mail - Send the completed application with an officially certified signature to the address of the Digital and Information Agency (DIA). You can obtain an officially certified signature at post offices marked with the Czech POINT logo.
How will I receive my login details?
In the case of data boxes set up upon request, the access data are sent, at the applicant's request, either to the contact address specified by the applicant in the application form, or they are generated by a so-called virtual envelope (applications for boxes for natural persons and natural persons conducting business that were processed directly at Czech POINT) and sent to the applicant's email address.
Remember that you must change your initial password when you log in for the first time.
We recommend changing your password every 90 days. If you do not wish to change your password every 90 days, you must set unlimited password validity in your data mailbox settings.
Do you know what fictitious delivery is or how to store messages in your data mailbox even after 90 days? For more information about data mailboxes, call the customer service line at 954 200 200 or visit www.mojedatovaschranka.cz.
