International Commercial Letter
A simple and reliable solution for targeted bulk mailing of advertising materials to Slovakia. The service is primarily intended for businesses sending commercial, advertising, or promotional communications, or samples of goods of negligible value, to a large number of recipients abroad at favorable rates.

What and how can be sent?
- The contents of the consignment may only include:
- newspapers, magazines, books, brochures, catalogs, invitations to corporate or other events, leaflets, or printed materials of an exclusively promotional nature,
- communications whose purpose is to obtain financial or other resources for activities that are in the public interest,
- information intended for members of customer and loyalty clubs with information about purchases made and membership benefits.
- Sealed package with inserted contents.
- A folded sheet with secured edges to prevent other items from being inserted into the Commercial Letter during handling.
Which countries can the service be sent to?
Currently, consignments can only be sent to Slovakia.

Price List
Prices for International Commercial Letter and related services are listed without VAT. VAT will be added to the price of the service at the statutory rate in accordance with applicable laws.

If a company submits two types of Commercial Letters on the same day, the price is charged according to the volume of submissions for each type of business letter separately.
The minimum number of items that can be sent as International Commercial Letters abroad at one time is 1,000.
Method of payment
Submission
- Submission is only possible on the basis of a prior written agreement.
- The consignment can only be submitted at the post office selected in agreement with the sender as the post office of submission.
- Commercial Letters to Slovakia are suitable for sending larger quantities of consignments. A minimum of
- 1,000 items of identical size, content, shape, and weight can be sent at one time.
- International Commercial Letters may also include small items of negligible value (product samples or promotional items).
- Additional services cannot be selected for International Commercial Letters.
Packaging requirements
The outer and inner packaging must be appropriate for the nature and weight of the contents, the method and duration of transport of the postal item, and the way in which the item will be handled during the provision of the service.

Information on whether a specific item is prohibited from being included in a shipment can also be obtained by calling the customer service line or by sending an email to info@cpost.cz.
Delivery
The consignment will be delivered by foreign postal services without confirmation of receipt by the recipient.
If the foreign post office fails to deliver the postal item, it shall return it to the sender without delay and indicate on the item the reason why it was not delivered.
Alternative services
For contract customers
This service is intended exclusively for contract customers; that is, consignments can only be sent based on a prior agreement regarding the terms and conditions for sending International Commercial Letter.
The post office offers the following to its contract customers:
- a simpler way to pay for consignments based on a pre-signed written agreement regarding cashless payment for postal services.
