Parcel pickup based on code

With the parcel pickup code, a person close to you can pick up the shipment for you if you give them the code.

Service description

Code-based parcel delivery allows you to pick up most domestic registered parcels from Česká pošta and Balíkovna without having to present ID, which means that a third party can pick them up on behalf of the addressee at any post office.

The recipient will find the pickup code in the shipment notification, which we send by SMS or email, as well as in the Pošta Online or Balíkovna mobile app. It is a six-digit alphanumeric code and, in combination with the recipient's name or the shipment number, can be used to pick up the parcel without having to prove your identity.

At post offices with a call system and a specialized Balíkovna counter, simply enter the code directly into the call system. This gives customers the option of expedited delivery and eliminates the need to repeat the code at the counter (only the name (title) of the recipient or the shipment number is verified).

The package can also be picked up by a third party.

The shipment can also be picked up by a person close to the recipient if they present the six-digit pickup code at the counter in combination with the recipient's name or the shipment number.

They do not need to present identification, power of attorney, or sign a receipt.

Pick up at the counter

Pickup by code is available at all post offices. At the counter, simply provide the six-digit pickup code along with the name (title) of the recipient or the shipment number. There is no need to present identification, power of attorney, or sign a receipt. This allows us to serve you more quickly.

Pickup at Balikovna

Select the Express Parcel Delivery button and enter the six-digit code for collection directly into the call system. You will find the code in the email or SMS notification of shipment storage and in the Pošta Online or Balíkovna.  This allows us to start preparing your parcel in the background before it is your turn, so we can hand it over to you more quickly (you do not need to repeat the code at the counter, just give the name of the recipient or the shipment number).

Parcels you can pick up with a code

The service is available for Balík Do ruky, EMS domestic, Parcel Shop, and Parcel Shop to Address parcels and cannot be used for parcels with additional services that require verification of the recipient's identity (e.g., Do vlastních rukou, etc.) or basic services (domestic Registered Mail and Valuable Mail). The pickup code is not included in email notifications related to the Shipment Notification benefit for Customer Card holders.
