Česká pošta, státní podnik (hereinafter referred to as "ČP") complies with the principles of personal data protection and processes only those personal data that are used to provide the service selected by the customer and for the period necessary for this purpose.

ČP also processes the personal data of customer representatives (contracting parties), including the personal data of potential customers who are interested in ČP's services or who have been approached with our offer.

Customers will find all information about the processing of personal data directly in the contract they conclude. This is because the scope of the purposes for which personal data is processed is determined by the concluded contract/service provided. With this information, which is available on its website, ČP provides its customers with additional information to supplement the basic information already provided to customers when the contract between ČP and the customer was concluded, either directly in the contract or in a document to which the contract refers, including ČP's Postal Terms and Conditions, which also contain information on the processing of personal data.

If the customer has concluded a contract with ČP in the past, i.e. before the adoption of the amendment pursuant to European Regulation (EU) 2016/679, which is effective from May 25, 2018, and therefore did not receive information about the possible right to object, the right to withdraw consent for a specific service provided, or is interested in other information, they can contact the ČP Data Protection Officer directly with their questions and requests.
