Promotional materials

This is a simple and reliable service for the non-addressed mass distribution of informational materials that are not intended for specific recipients and whose content does not conflict with applicable laws, good morals, or the business interests of Czech Post. Materials submitted in this way are delivered to mailboxes, delivery boxes of households, companies, including offices and institutions, or P.O. boxes throughout the Czech Republic.

What can you send?

Information materials (RIM)

e.g., material containing information from public authorities, political parties and movements, state institutions, municipal or regional authority newsletters, ministry information leaflets informing residents about possible infections, or information leaflets about changes of address.

Price list

Prices for RIM and related services are listed without VAT. VAT will be added to the price of the service at the statutory rate in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

Prices are determined according to the weight of the material and the zone to which it belongs (zone A, zone B).

1) Zone A – for households in selected municipalities and P.O. boxes (see Appendix No. 3 to the Terms and Conditions for the Delivery of Information Materials service, “List of municipalities included in Zone A”)

2) Zone B – for households in other municipalities and businesses

Payment method

In cash upon delivery, cashless payment for postal services, credit, or based on an invoice (bank transfer, postal order A, or direct debit from the customer's account).

Submission

  • Submissions are only possible on the basis of a written contract concluded in advance or a completed order form.
  • The minimum number of items to be delivered within one delivery area is 40 for households and 20 for businesses and P.O. boxes, and the minimum number of items to be delivered within one part of a municipality within one delivery area is 10. All information materials submitted as a single order must have the same weight and delivery date and must have the same content.
  • No additional services can be selected for the RIM service.

Delivery

  • With the RIM service, the recipient does not confirm receipt of the materials.
  • The materials must be addressed to a group of recipients that does not need to be further identified.
  • Information materials are delivered between the third and eighth working day after the date of submission. If information materials are submitted directly to the post office responsible for the required delivery area, Česká pošta is obliged to deliver the materials no later than the sixth working day after the date of submission.
  • Materials should be designed so that they can be delivered to standard mailboxes.
  • Information leaflets are delivered to all addressees, even those who refuse to accept the materials.

The contractual relationship between the sender and Česká pošta, s.p. is defined in more detail in the "Order for the Delivery of Information Materials" or "Contract" and "Terms and Conditions for the Delivery of Information Materials," which are available at every post office.

For contract customers
