Information about changes to the delivery of registered mail to foreign countries

In some countries, there are changes in the delivery of delivery notes for registered mail. Specifically, this concerns postal operators in Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Below are links where you can obtain proof of delivery of registered mail to the authorized recipient, replacing an undelivered or incorrectly completed delivery note.

Germany https://www.deutschepost.de/de/s/sendungsverfolgung.html

Ireland  / https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Track/Search

United Kingdom / https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/tracking-results

If the delivery note is not available on the website, does not contain the relevant details, or the website is currently not working, please submit a complaint.

Tracking number

  • Prefix – shipment type code – usually two letters, e.g. DR – Parcel to Hand,
  • shipment number – 9 or 10 digits, and
  • Suffix – code that usually represents the type of sender, e.g. C, or ISO code of the country of origin, e.g. GB (Great Britain and Northern Ireland).

The shipment number for shipments from abroad may also have a specific format for the country of origin.

When entering the shipment tracking number, it is not necessary to distinguish between upper and lower case letters in the codes. You can find the shipment tracking number on the shipping label, in an SMS or email message, or on the notice in your mailbox.

Notice for international shipments

Czech Post is only responsible for displaying the status of shipments originating in the Czech Republic.
Before entering or after leaving the Czech Republic, any display of shipment statuses depends on the transfer of information from foreign postal services.

The current status of selected international shipments can be tracked on the website of the relevant operator, or you can use other platforms, such as 17track4tracking, etc.

However, this information may not always be correctly interpreted by our system and subsequently displayed.
