Extract from the Land Register
Do you want to verify ownership of real estate or find out who owns the neighboring land? At the post office with Czech POINT, you can obtain an extract from the Land Registry without having to prove your identity.
What you need:
- cadastral area (mandatory)
- optional: property sheet number, parcel number, descriptive number, or apartment unit number
The extract may be complete (the entire title deed) or partial.

Do you need a map for property valuation or building permit proceedings? At a post office with Czech POINT, you can obtain a copy of the cadastral map in A4 format.
What you need:
- parcel number and cadastral area
or the exact address of the property
The image is public – anyone can obtain it.
Extract from the Criminal Register – natural persons
When starting a new job, you often need a criminal record check. This is only issued to the person concerned or their representative with certified power of attorney.
What you need:
- identity document (ID card, passport, foreigner's ID card)
- basic identification data:
- name and birth surname and current surname
- birth number (or date of birth for foreigners)
- citizenship
- place of birth.
You can also request a multilingual extract (all EU languages).
Extract from the Criminal Register – legal entities
The data is publicly accessible; the identity of the applicant is not verified at the post office with Czech POINT.
Extract from the Driver Register
Check the status of your driver's point account at a post office with Czech POINT. The statement will only be issued to you or a representative with verified power of attorney.
The mandatory information required for issuing an extract is:
- first and last name
- date of birth (we also recommend your birth number or driver's license number).
What you need:
- Identity document
- Valid ID card or
- Valid passport or
- Foreign national identification document or foreign national residence permit
- Driver's license, if applicable.
If another person (an authorized representative) is submitting the application on behalf of the applicant, the following is required:
- officially certified power of attorney in Czech
- valid proof of identity of the representative.
Extracts from public registers
Do you need a statement for a contract or tender? At a post office with Czech POINT, you can obtain (without proving your identity):
- extract from the commercial register
- extract from the trade register
- extract from the list of qualified suppliers
- extracts from other public registers:
- commercial
- federal
- foundation
- register of institutions
- homeowners' association (SVJ )
What you need: the entity's ID number.
Mediated submission under the Trade Licensing Act
Start a business easily at the post office with Czech POINT by filling out a single registration form.
What you need:
- identity card or passport
- completed standard registration form (available for download on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic)
- required attachments in original or certified copy (e.g., apprenticeship certificate).
Upon receipt of the application, Czech Post collects a cash fee in accordance with the Schedule of Administrative Fees, which will be remitted to the relevant trade licensing office.
Extract from the insolvency register
Check with Czech POINT at the post office to see if your customer or business partner is insolvent. If they are, the extract will contain the current status of the proceedings.
What you need: Company ID number (legal entity) or personal details (natural person).
Register of End-of-Life Vehicles (MA ISOH)
At a post office with Czech POINT, you can:
- register a scrapyard operator
- obtain access details
- make changes or generate a one-time password.
What you need: the operator's ID number, proof of identity, and power of attorney if applicable.
Extracts from basic registers
At a post office with Czech POINT, you can obtain:
- extract from the population register
- extract from the register of persons
- public extract from the register of persons
- extract on the use of data.
You can submit a request to change your data free of charge:
- change of data in the population register
- change of data in the register of persons
- provision of changes to a third party.
If you need a statement in a language other than Czech, you can request a multilingual document - Multilingual Statement from the Population Register (ZR01). All official languages of EU countries are available.
Identification and public identification document
Extract from the eRecept system
At a post office with Czech POINT, you can request a certified statement of your e-prescriptions for a selected period. The statement contains:
- all electronic prescriptions for which patient identification has been performed
- records of paper prescriptions dispensed and converted into electronic form.
Only citizens identified in the Population Register can obtain an extract. Legal guardians can request extracts for their children.
