What you need to order a handstamp

 

  • graphic design of the handstamp - the final handstamp is usually round with a maximum diameter of 32 mm - the design is usually created as a line drawing; it must be delivered in good quality (300 dpi), approximately four times enlarged, in JPG, TIF, AI, EPS, or PDF format; it must include the name of the post office that will be stamping the postmark (e.g., Litoměřice 1) and the full date of the postmark (e.g., January 1, 2021); if the stamp will be used on multiple days, the design should include the first date and a complete set of numbers 0-9 for the creation of other date stamps; The handstamp design must not contain any references to websites or social networks, either in text or graphic form.
  • A precise description of the handstamp motif.
  • The request must contain the exact name of the nearest post office, the selected location and date of use of the handstamp.
  • Information about the customer: the customer's exact address, ID number, VAT number, bank details; for self-employed persons and legal entities, standard documents: copy of an extract from the Commercial Register, copy of a trade license, copy of a VAT registration certificate).

The production of commemorative handstamps is provided by Česká pošta, s. p., Známková tvorba (Czech Post, Stamp Production). We will provide a price estimate based on your request by email. The calculation and final price will be communicated only after a binding order has been placed. The handstamp remains the property of Česká pošta, s. p. and is subsequently stored in the Postal Museum.
