Pay machines are a practical solution for paying postage during the preparation of shipments, especially for customers with regular correspondence. They contribute to more efficient processing of shipments, reducing the administrative burden and keeping track of costs.
What is a pay machine and what is it used for?
The payment machine is used to pay postage directly during the preparation of the shipment, by obtaining a payment imprint on the shipment - without using postage stamps.
The machine works on the principle of prepaid credit. After the required amount is credited to the Czech Post account, the credit is set up in the device via remote crediting, which is provided by the relevant crediting center.
The payment machine's imprint can only be used to pay for the price of basic postal services provided within the postal license as services exempt from VAT.
The use of the payment machine, including the scope of services and postage prices, is governed by the current Price List and Postal Terms - Basic Postal Services.

How to buy a payment machine?
The payment machine can be purchased or rented through a selected authorized dealer, who will also provide installation, service and technical support for the machine.
