SMS Alerts on a Mailbox

Did you know that thanks to the so-called fiction of delivery, data messages are considered delivered no later than 10 days after they arrive in your data mailbox? Authorities, bailiffs, courts, or other public authorities that sent you the message can thus draw the same legal conclusions as if you were aware of the message's content. 

The easiest way to minimize the risk of legal problems is to activate SMS alerts on a mailbox. You will receive an informational SMS for every incoming message.

Why use the SMS Alerts on a Mailbox?

    You no longer need to check your data mailbox every day or worry about missing a new data message. You will be notified of every new message via an SMS notification.

    The informational SMS will be sent to your mobile phone in an area covered by a mobile operator in the Czech Republic. 
  • No contract and settings
    No contract is required to use this service. You can order informational SMS messages directly in your data mailbox settings. You do not need to install anything on your mobile phone or make any special settings.

Step-by-step guide to using the service

  1. Activate the SMS notification service in your data mailbox settings and enter the phone number to which we will send SMS notifications. You will receive an informational SMS every time a new message arrives in your data mailbox. SMS notifications can only be used on phone numbers (SIM cards) from Czech mobile operators.
  2. A free informational SMS message about the activation of the service will be sent to the phone number you have selected.
  3. The SMS Alerts on a Mailbox service will be activated for 300 SMS messages.
  4. After you have used up 290 SMS messages, you will receive a free informational SMS message notifying you that the ordered service is about to expire. Simply send an SMS with the text ANO SCHRANKY to the phone number 90211 and the service will be activated for another 300 SMS messages.
  5. If you have multiple data mailboxes, you can receive notifications of new incoming data messages on a single phone number. The SMS message sent contains information about which of your mailboxes the new incoming data messages are located in.

Service price

The price of the service is CZK 3 per SMS message sent (the price includes VAT in accordance with applicable legislation). Payment for incoming SMS messages will be included in your mobile operator's monthly bill or deducted directly from your credit balance.
