Commercial Letter

An economically advantageous way to send bulk advertising mail. A simple and reliable solution for the addressed bulk delivery of purely advertising mail to mailboxes throughout the Czech Republic. This service is intended for bulk mailers, companies, commercial enterprises, and similar entities.

What can be sent and how?

The contents of the shipment may only include:

newspapers, magazines, books, brochures, catalogs
brochures or printed materials of an exclusively advertising nature
information intended for members of customer and loyalty clubs about purchases made and membership benefits
communications whose purpose is to obtain financial or other resources for the charitable activities of organizations or individuals

A consignment may consist of:

sealed envelope with contents enclosed
folded sheet with edges secured so that no other item can be inserted into the Commercial Letter during handling

35.3 × 25 × 2 cm **) The shipment must be prepared so that it can be delivered to a standard mailbox.

*) An irregularly shaped consignment must be of such dimensions that a rectangle measuring 14 x 9 cm placed on the surface of the consignment does not protrude anywhere.

**) The maximum dimensions of a consignment must not exceed 35.3 cm in length, 25 cm in width, and 2 cm in thickness, including any small items enclosed. The maximum dimensions of a non-rectangular parcel must not exceed the dimensions of a rectangle measuring 35.3 x 25 cm attached to the parcel. The parcel must be prepared in such a way that it can be delivered to a standard mailbox.

The base price applies to orders over 1,000 pieces.

Payment method

In cash upon delivery, cashless payment for postal services, credit, or based on an invoice.

Submission

Submission is only possible on the basis of a prior written agreement concluded with Česká pošta.
Commercial Letter is suitable for sending larger quantities of printed matter, as the minimum single submission must be at least 1,000 items of identical size, content, shape, and weight.
Items that cannot be sorted automatically must be sorted by postal code, bundled (Rules for bundling items) and marked according to the instructions of the Czech Post.
Commercial Letters may also include small items of negligible value (product samples or promotional items).
Additional services cannot be selected for Commercial Letters.

For each submission of up to 5,000 items, the sender shall submit two completed forms to the post office together with the shipment: List of Business Letters.
For each submission of more than 5,000 items, the sender shall submit two completed forms to the post office together with the consignment: List of Commercial Letters and one completed form: List of Commercial Letter Bundles for consignments that cannot be sorted automatically.
