Where do you download the application?
We have prepared a mobile application for devices with the operating system Android and iOS. You can download it for FREE under the name Postcards Online on Google Play and App Store.

How and why to use the application?
Postcard Online is an application of the Czech Post that allows you to create and send a classic paper postcard via the web, mobile phone or tablet.
Thanks to the application, you can save on postcards sent from abroad! Send it online from abroad to a server in the Czech Republic, where we will print and deliver it just as quickly as if you were sending it from the Czech Republic.
All you need is a smartphone or tablet and a minute of your time
- You will create an original and personal postcard from your own photo or image.
- You can choose from three different postcard formats depending on the type of photo.
- You can compose the front of the postcard from up to 5 different photos.
- You can also edit the photo in a simple editing tool.
- You can add the greeting text, change its color, style and font size.
- You can fill in the address manually or select it from your phone's address book.
- You pay by card or payment order entered via a payment gateway or by voucher.
- Send directly from your mobile phone, no need to look for a post office or mailbox, all you need is an internet connection.
- You can be anywhere in the world, we will always deliver your postcards.
How much does it cost to send a postcard?
The Postcard Online mobile application itself is FREE.
You only pay for the production, submission and delivery of the postcard. The price depends on the size of the postcard and the country to which you are sending the postcard.
In addition, if you have our Customer Card, you will get a 2 CZK DISCOUNT on the production of the postcard!
An example of the total prices consisting of the price of production, submission and the relevant postage is given below.
Prices are valid from 1. 2. 2025.

Where can I buy a voucher and how much does it cost?
You can purchase a voucher with a code online directly in the application or on the Czech Post websites Pohledniceonline.cz and PostShop.cz. This code will be delivered to you by email. You can also purchase a gift voucher at any Czech Post branch. You can save it directly to the application or immediately upon purchase, where it will then serve as credit for sending postcards. After completing the postcard editing, just before payment, you have the option to select a voucher from your list. After selection and confirmation, it will be deducted from your postcard balance, so you do not have to go through the entire payment process.
When purchasing online, we offer three types of vouchers, which differ in price depending on the destination of the postcard. The voucher can be purchased for 3 to 10 postcards, the exact number of which you choose when purchasing it. Since the vouchers are linked to an online database, they are portable and can be used on multiple devices at once. The validity of purchased vouchers is unlimited.
At Czech Post branches, we offer only one type of voucher, for 3 postcards to the Czech Republic for CZK 129. The validity of purchased vouchers is unlimited.

Detailed technical parameters
- Postcards can be made in 3 formats:
- regular postcard – A6 format, dimensions 105mm × 148mm;
- large postcard – A5 format, dimensions 148mm × 210mm;
- long postcard – DL format, dimensions 101mm × 210mm.
- The image inserted into the application can be edited to a certain extent in the application.
- To maintain quality, we recommend the resolution of the image template:
- regular postcard A6 format – 2 Mpx;
- large postcard A5 format – 4 Mpx;
- long postcard DL format – 3 Mpx.
- The postcard can be provided with accompanying text. There are 4 font formats, 4 sizes and 4 font colors to choose from.
- One postcard can be sent to up to 10 addresses at once.
- The sent postcard is saved in the archive with information about the sending and can be re-sent to other addresses, if necessary.
- Payment for the service is made directly in the application using online payment methods via a payment gateway or a prepaid voucher.
- Printing and distribution take place the next business day after payment for the postcard is received.
- Printing is done digitally at a resolution of 300 DPI on postcard cardboard.
