Online Change of Delivery

Have you received notification of the arrival of your expected consignment by email or SMS? The parcel is already on its way, and you know from the notification you received that you will not be available at the specified time at the specified address? Do you need to extend the storage period for your stored parcel so that you can pick it up, or would you like to have the parcel redelivered?

Delivery of deposited consignments

Do you need to deliver a consignment to an address other than the one to which it was delivered? If the consignment has already been stored at your depositing post office, you can request that it be forwarded to any address in the Czech Republic.

Warning

Delivery of a specific consignment that has already been deposited is charged according to the Price List. To have a consignment delivered, we recommend using our Online Change of Delivery application.

Consignments for which the sender has specified the requirement "Do not forward" cannot be forwarded.

Change of depositing post office

Can't pick up your parcel at your depositing post office?  Request that it be deposited at another post office that is more convenient for you. We provide this service free of charge.

Please note that you will no longer be notified when your consignment is deposited at the new depositing post office.

Redelivery

Were you not home when we tried to deliver your consignment? We can deliver the consignment to your address again on any working day during normal delivery hours, i.e. between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. We provide this service free of charge.  

The request for redelivery must be sent at least three business days before the requested redelivery date, which must not exceed the delivery period for the consignment.

Extension of deposit period

Do you need to extend the period during which your consignments will be deposited at the post office? Are you going on vacation and worried that you will miss an important official letter? Contact us. If the consignment allows it, we will extend its deposit period.

Did we miss you at home?

If we were unable to reach you at home and the consignment is deposited at the post office, you can extend the deposit period to one month. We provide this service free of charge.

Are you going on vacation?

If you are leaving for a shorter period of time, you can request an extension of the deposit period for up to 1 month from the date the consignment was ready for pickup for all types of consignments where this is possible. The request is valid for one month and can be submitted repeatedly. We provide this service free of charge.

Warning

We would like to inform you that we cannot extend the deposit period for some consignments. The sender may shorten it from the usual 15 days to only 10 days, or give instructions that the deposit period must not be extended. In these cases, we cannot extend the deposit period. Similarly, the storage period cannot be extended for remitted amounts of money and for the Balík Do ruky service.

Arranging assistance for immobile persons

Czech Post allows its customers to request assistance for immobile persons so that postal workers can give priority to handling their requests. However, for technical reasons, the request must be submitted at least one day before the requested date of priority service.

If you need priority service on the same day, please contact the post office you need to visit directly.  We will be happy to accommodate you based on personal agreement within the scope of our operational capabilities.
