Information for SIPO clients

On May 1, 2025, Amendment No. 348/2005 Coll. on radio and television fees will come into effect, bringing with it a change in the statutory amount of radio (from CZK 45 to CZK 55) and television fees (from CZK 135 to CZK 150), which may have an impact on Czech Post customers who pay via SIPO. We are providing our customers with instructions on how to prepare for this legislative change:

• If you pay your fees via SIPO in cash at ČP counters, you don't have to worry about anything. Starting with the May statement, you will automatically be charged the new fee, which you can pay via SIPO at any ČP branch, as usual.
• When paying SIPO by a one-time order from your bank account, you must pay the prescribed amount, including other information specified on the SIPO document, which we will send you at the beginning of each month as before.
• If you pay SIPO by direct debit from your account, please make sure that you have set a sufficient limit for direct debits at your bank. If the direct debit limit is set at a sufficient amount to allow SIPO payments to be collected, even with the new radio and television fees, you do not need to do anything; we will take care of everything for you. If you need to increase your direct debit limit and are unable to do so within the deadlines set by your bank, please pay the SIPO bill by means of a one-off payment order so that the payment is credited to the Czech Post account no later than the last working day of the given direct debit month, or in cash at any post office on the last working day of the month.
