Selected services of the Labor Office at other post offices

At the beginning of June 2024, the Czech Post and the Labor Office launched a pilot project that allowed clients at selected Czech Post branches to apply for digitized benefits in the area of state social support.

Specifically, these are applications for parental allowance, child allowance, or housing allowance. A pilot test of this mutual cooperation began on Monday, June 3, 2024, in Liberec, and then, starting on July 1, another 50 branches of the Czech Post Office in the Ústí nad Labem, Liberec, and Vysočina regions joined in. By the end of 2024, the number of selected branches had increased to 57, and as of January 20, 2025, another 39 post offices were added where the three benefits mentioned above can be processed, including the submission of the necessary documents related to the above-mentioned benefits (proof of income, expenses, addition or removal of jointly assessed persons, etc.). From Monday, February 17, selected services of the Labor Office were extended to another 134 post offices throughout the Czech Republic. By the middle of the year, a total of 752 post offices will be involved in the project.

From Monday, March 3, another 138 branches throughout the Czech Republic will offer the services.
