Postcards always bring joy to everyone

From April 27 to May 18, 2025, anyone can sign up on the PsaniOdSrdce.cz website to write one or more letters or postcards. With the help of caregivers, the letters will be delivered to seniors, primarily in their homes, but also in retirement homes. Anyone who wants to do something nice for people in their community can participate.

"Postal workers are an integral part of everyday life in our society. Every day, nearly four thousand mail carriers set out on their rounds, whether in cities or in the most remote corners of the Czech Republic. Postcards Online are among the most popular items of mail for recipients. They contain a personal message and, most importantly, a photo intended only for the person to whom we deliver it. I am glad that Česká pošta was able to participate in the Psaní od srdce project through this service. In an age of short virtual messages, a paper message is something that truly delights everyone," says Silvie Mandlová, director of Česká pošta's contact network.
