People returned duty stamps worth more than CZK 20 million
Until the end of 2024, owners of revenue stamps could either use them to pay the relevant fees or return them undamaged to Czech Post branches, which bought them back. The stamps expired on December 31, 2024, and can no longer be used or sold back.
From the beginning of last year to the end of December, clients returned stamps with a nominal value of CZK 20,348,901. In terms of pieces, this amounted to 61,239 stamps. Most often, people returned stamps with a nominal value of CZK 100 and CZK 1,000. The least frequently returned stamps were those with a nominal value of one CZK, specifically 2,156 pieces for the entire year 2024.
