Czech Post expands services provided to the Labor Office to include employment agenda
Since the beginning of April, selected services provided by the Labor Office have been extended to other branches of the Czech Post. Selected state social support benefits can now be claimed at 509 post offices. By the middle of the year, a total of 752 post offices will be involved in the project. Applications for parental allowance, child allowance, or housing allowance can be processed.
At the same time, from April 1, Česká pošta is launching the option to handle employment matters at 59 branches. Specifically, this involves registering job seekers and subsequently applying for unemployment benefits through assisted filing. The aim is to extend the agenda of employment benefits to all branches, which will be gradually included in a pilot operation in cooperation with the Labor Office during this year.
