Changes in the provision of services by the Labor Office via Czech Post

The Czech Post currently provides services to the Labor Office at all branches with Czech POINT, i.e., at approximately 750 post offices. This involves assistance with submitting applications within the Jenda Client Zone, specifically applications for parental allowance, housing allowance, child allowance, job placement, and unemployment benefits.

From October 1, 2025, there will be a fundamental legislative change and the introduction of the so-called super benefit. The super benefit will now include child allowance, housing allowance, living allowance, and housing supplement. Individual benefits will no longer be provided separately and therefore cannot be administered at post offices. The acceptance of applications for the super benefit will be introduced at post offices in agreement with the Czech Labor Office during 2026. After October 1, 2025, it will still be possible to apply for parental benefits and employment services at participating branches.
