Current financial performance of Česká pošta

In 2024, Česká pošta posted a loss of CZK 1.246 billion.

"The significantly improved figures are the result of the positive outcomes of the rationalization and restructuring plan, which is an essential part of Česká pošta's transformation," said Miroslav Štěpán, CEO.

The improvement is evident both at Czech Post and at its subsidiary Balíkovna.

The current forecast for the economic result for 2025 will be below CZK -400 million. If the sale of smaller properties that Česká pošta no longer uses in its operations is successful, Česká pošta will report an economic result for 2025 at break-even.
"Even if the income from the sale of real estate is accounted for in the 2026 results, it will still be the best economic result since 2018, which is an amazing result of the work of all the company's employees," added CEO Miroslav Štěpán. For this reason, the company's management has decided to pay a special bonus to Česká pošta employees.

Česká pošta is financially stable, the economic trend has definitely reversed, and there is no risk of insolvency.
