Shipments for which the recipient does not confirm receipt (standard shipments)
The addressee is a natural person
Česká pošta will deliver the postal item:
- to an addressee who does not present the Request* but provides proof of identity, or
- a natural person who does not present the Notice, provides proof of identity and further proves that they are the addressee's representative by presenting the recipient's electronic ID card linked to their Customer Card, or the recipient's paper ID card, or a certified power of attorney, the legal representative of the addressee (under 15 years of age, or an addressee whose legal capacity has been restricted to the extent that they are not capable of performing acts related to delivery) or the representative of the legal representative of the addressee, who also provides personal identification.
The addressee is a legal entity
Česká pošta will deliver the postal item to:
- a natural person over the age of 15 who presents the Request, or
- a natural person over 15 years of age who does not present the Request but proves their identity with a personal document and an electronic recipient card for the Customer Card or a paper recipient card, a power of attorney, or a statement that they are authorized to receive postal items on behalf of the legal entity, or
- a natural person over 15 years of age who does not present the Request but proves their identity with personal identification, an electronic recipient card for the Customer Card or a paper card, and presents the Czech Post Customer Card held by the addressee of the shipment.
Postal items and money orders whose receipt is confirmed by the recipient and for which the sender has not selected the additional service "To the addressee only, in person."
The addressee is a natural person
Česká pošta will deliver the postal item/money order:
- to the addressee who presents/does not present the Request and proves their identity with personal identification, or
- to a natural person who presents/does not present the Request, proves their identity with personal identification, and further proves that they are the addressee's representative by presenting the recipient's electronic ID card linked to the Customer Card or the recipient's paper ID card or a certified power of attorney, the addressee's legal representative (under 15 years of age, or an addressee whose legal capacity has been restricted to the extent that they are not capable of performing acts related to delivery) or the addressee's legal representative's authorized representative.
The addressee is a legal entity
Česká pošta will deliver the postal item/remittance to:
- a natural person over the age of 15 who presents personal identification and the Česká pošta Customer Card held by the addressee of the item, or
- a natural person over 15 years of age who presents personal identification and an electronic recipient card for the Customer Card or a paper recipient card, power of attorney, or a statement that they are authorized to receive the shipment/money order on behalf of the legal entity.
Česká pošta will deliver postal items/money orders designated for personal delivery to:
- to a natural person over the age of 15 who presents personal identification and the recipient's electronic Customer Card or paper ID card, power of attorney, or a statement that they are authorized to receive the shipment/money order on behalf of a legal entity, or
- a natural person over the age of 15 who presents personal identification and a Czech Post Customer Card held by the addressee of the shipment.
Postal items and money orders whose receipt is confirmed by the recipient and for which the sender has selected the additional service "To the addressee only, in person."
The addressee is a natural person
The Czech Post will deliver the postal item/money order:
- to the addressee who presents/does not present the Request and proves their identity with personal identification.
The condition for the release of stored shipments is that the recipient confirms receipt of the shipment with their signature on the delivery documents and pays any outstanding amounts.
*If you are unable to present the Notice, we recommend that you contact the post office where the shipment is stored. Based on this request, the post office will issue a Repeated Notice, which will be delivered to the address indicated on the shipment.
