Czech POINT now offers firearm license processing
Czech POINT now offers firearm license processing
From January 2026, branches offering the Czech POINT service will provide the option of handling matters relating to firearms licenses. Without unnecessary paperwork, in one place, and with officially certified output.
A firearms license is an official document containing information recorded in the Central Weapons Register. It serves primarily to prove authorization to possess, carry, or use a weapon, as well as to prove authorization to purchase a weapon. An output from Czech POINT has the same legal weight as a document issued by the Czech Police. According to the Czech Post price list, the first page of the extract costs CZK 100, and each additional page costs CZK 50. Payment can be made by card or cash.
A list of branches offering the Czech POINT service can be found on the Czech Post website Czech POINT - Czech Post.
