Service description
Parcel pickup based on code makes it possible to pick up most domestic notified parcels delivered by Czech Post without producing ID. A third party can pick up the parcel on behalf of the addressee at any post office.
The pickup code is sent to the addressee in the notification text or email message. It contains six alphanumeric characters, and together with the addressee’s name or parcel reference number replaces ID card.
The code also speeds up the pickup process at post offices with a queue management system and dedicated Parcel Pickup Outlet counter. Just enter the pickup code on the touchpad terminal. Then the addressee’s name or parcel reference number will have to be produced at the counter (repeat pickup code is not required).
Your parcel can be picked up by a third party
A third party can pickup the parcel on behalf of the addressee. The only thing that will be requested is the pickup code and the addressee’s name or parcel reference number.
No ID card, power of attorney, or signature of a certificate of receipt are necessary.
Pickup at a post office counter
Pickup based on code is available at any post office. Only the pickup code and the addressee’s name or parcel reference number will have to be produced at the counter. No ID card, power of attorney, or signature of a certificate of receipt are necessary. This will make the pickup faster.
Pickup at a parcel pickup outlet
Parcel pickup outlet with a queue management system with touchpad terminal
Press the Fast parcel pickup button and enter the pickup code from the notification email or text message on the touchpad terminal. The back office will immediately start preparing the parcel so that your number will be called faster.

Press the Fast parcel pickup push button on the terminal and wait for the ticket. Your number will be called faster.
Eligible services
Parcel pickup based on code is available with the following services: Parcel Delivery To Hand, Parcel Delivery To Post Office, Complete Parcel, Domestic EMS, Balíkovna a Balíkovna Home Delivery. Parcels with additional services requiring addressee’s authentication (such as Restricted Delivery) or basic parcel services (such as Registered Packet and Insured Parcel) are not eligible.
