One letter, two delivery options
Description
The Ordinary Letter scheme is ideal for ordinary correspondence. Use it to send a letter to your friends or business partners. Just drop the letter in a mail box or at a post office counter and we will deliver it to the addressee’s letter box, P.O.Box, or delivery box.
A two-speed delivery system applies to some letter services. Customers may choose whether to have their letters delivered faster or at a lower price..

What can I post and how do I do it?
- Closed package with inserted contents.
- Unfolded paper card, postcard or picture card.
Benefits
- High quality and reliability
- Two delivery speeds
- Priority letters will usually be delivered the next working day after posting (D+1).
- Economy letters will usually be delivered no later than the third working day after posting.
- Lower price for slower delivery (the Economy option saves your money)

Posting

Declared value and other additional services are not available with Ordinary Letters

Ordinary Letters can be posted at any post office, handed over to authorised postal staff to be posted, or dropped in a mail box.

If you want to send an Ordinary Letter consignment, stick a stamp with the relevant face value, such as an A-stamp or stamps worth CZK 30 in case of standard letters (see the Pricelist for Services; PDF, 2 MB) to the envelope and drop it into a mail box.

Contractual consignors must always sort their consignments and mark the priority ones with a clearly visible note “D+1.” The Postage Registration Card for bulk mailers newly contains the chosen delivery option, such as Priority Ordinary Letter 50 g, Economy Ordinary Letter 100 g. The same requirement applies to any Registered Letters posted together with Ordinary Letters..

Delivery of Ordinary Letter will not be confirmed by the recipient.
