The profits of CZK 460 million and total revenues of CZK 10.033 billion achieved during the first half of the year indicate the ability of Czech Post to generate income which will safeguard its development even in a fully competitive environment, despite the steady downward trend in the letter mail segment.

Olympic Games as the theme for this year's Letter-Writing Competition
The International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union again organizes the annual International Letter-Writing Competition for Children up to 15 years of age. The theme for the already 41st annual competition is: „Write a letter to an athlete or sports star you admire and tell him or her what the Olympic Games mean to you“.
