The Czech Post opens a new type of post office in Dolní Břežany

A post office was opened at a ceremony in Dolní Břežany, as a new type of Czech Post's branches scheduled for next year's modernisation.

The Post gave out its original reconstruction plan represented by projects such as the branches in Prague's Eden mall or Liberec' Nisa mall. „The original plan was both financially and technically demanding. The new concept is cheaper, and at the same time much more friendly towards our customers as well as employees,," Czech Post's General Director Marcela Hrdá said.

While the original plan relied on equipment made to fit the space of the branch, the new concept builds on a modular system of units which can be flexibly adapted to fit each of the reconstructed branches. Simply put, it allows to achieve at least the same effect with cheaper materials and simpler technical solutions.

Children's corner or free WiFi: these are some of the new features awaiting the customers in the new branch in Dolní Břežany. Other post offices will also have a queue management system. Instead of queuing up in front of a counter, customers may use a comfortable customer zone with a drink vending machine.
