Postal personnel to have further 544 new cars
Czech Post awarded a contract for supply of light utility vehicles. Postal personnel will start to use the 544 new cars this May. The total value of the contract was CZK 174,176,068.

A stamp design portraying the president-elect approved
President-elect Miloš Zeman approved the line drawing to be used for the new presidential stamp. The drawing was made by graphic artist and engraver Miloš Ondráček who personally presented it to the president-elect Friday, 22 February. Miloš Zeman had the right to refuse to approve the portrait.

The world’s most beautiful stamp comes from the Czech Republic
A Czech Post’s stamp won the Grand Prix de l’Exposition at the WIPA World Exhibition in Vienna. Czech Post chose a “Postal Museum”stamp identified with a letter, designed by Slovak artist Dušan Kállay and engraved by Miloš Ondráček.

Czech Post to deliver all daily newspapers, starting October 2012
It has been more than a year since Czech Post’s return back to the market of periodicals delivery services. The Post first successfully re-launched its dailies delivery services which were then gradually expanded to cover also other periodicals.
