Bedřich Housa - 100 years

a special set issued to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of artist and engraver Bedřich Housa

The set consists of a commemorative print with an impression of an engraving from the 2007 – World Graphic Artist Václav Hollar miniature sheet and a commemorative sheet celebrating the engraver’s birth anniversary. The commemorative print with an impression of the stamp and coupons (black) made using a WAITE steel engraving machine is accompanied by a color reproduction of the miniature sheet, accompanying text, and numbering at the bottom. The commemorative sheet features the affixed stamp, postmarked “Stamp Design, Prague, 12.4.2026 (anniversary of birth) and is marked with identical numbering and a hologram. Both the commemorative print and commemorative sheet are enclosed in a presentation folder issued by Česká pošta.
