International Insured Letter
The only international letter product for mailing valuables.
Description
International Insured Letter meets the needs of private or business users mailing actual and private correspondence abroad. You can also mail money, precious metals and stones, securities, jewellery and similar valuables. Delivery is confirmed by the recipient. International Insured Letter includes compensation cover up to the value declared by the sender.

Benefits

Payment
With postage stamps, in cash at post offices or to authorised postal staff, contractual customers also by direct debit or franking machine.
Posting
- You can post your International Insured Letter at any post office or by handing it over to authorised postal staff.
- You will get a certificate of posting in the form of Posting Card, Posting Sheet or data file (for contractual customers only). Fill in these forms according to the printed instructions.
Packaging
- Use an inside and outside package adequate to the nature and weight of the contained things, manner and duration of relocation of the item and the manner of its handling during transmission and delivery.
- Only sealed package in the form of a special security plastic envelope available from the Czech Post is acceptable. Seal the package in accordance with the accompanying instructions.

Delivery
Priority
- Priority items enjoy priority over the other items mailed as International Insured Letter to a foreign place of destination.
- All items sent as International Insured Letter to European countries are carried as priority mail.
- Mark your item with the note "Prioritní" ("Priority") or with the "Prioritaire" label or ask the personnel on posting to have your item sent as priority mail.
Non-priority
- You can send your International Insured Letter at an economical price to non-European countries. Your item will not be carried to the destination country in the fastest possible way and the other priority items will have priority of carriage.
- No compensation is paid for delayed items.
