Description
You can use Insured Parcel for mailing money, precious metals and stones and products made out of them, jewellery and similar valuables, securities, traveller cheques, bearer cheques, bills of exchange, payment cards, gift vouchers as well as other valuables. The maximum compensation payable by the Czech Post is the declared value (maximum CZK 1,000,000). Once posted, Insured Parcels are tracked&traced by the Czech Post T&T system.

If you choose this additional service, the addressee will receive an SMS or email alert with information on the status of arrival.
Delivery Alert
If you choose this additional service, the sender will receive an SMS or email alert with information on the status of delivery.

Payment
In cash on posting, with postage stamps, contractual customers also by franking machine, by direct debit or bank transfer. Do not stick postage stamps on the envelope but give them over to the postal personnel on posting.
Posting
- You can post your Insured Parcel at a post office or with authorised postal personnel anywhere.
- Mark the declared value (maximum CZK 1,000,000) on your Insured Parcel.
- If your parcel weighs more than 15kg, make it up to facilitate safe and easy handling by two persons.
- If the declared value of your parcel exceeds CZK 30,000 or if your parcel contains valuables valued at more than CZK 10,000, use special package (obligatory).
- Insured Parcel shaped as a tube or roll, up to 120cm in height and up to 30cm in diameter, are carried without any extra charge for Cumbersome.
Delivery
- Your Insured Parcel will be delivered to the recipient only against certificate of delivery.

- Delivery information are available the day next to the posting.
