Information on post offices open on Sundays and public holidays
At least one post office in each regional capital and in towns with population of more than 100,000 people, as well as post offices in certain malls or shopping centres are open for business on Sundays and public holidays followed by a working day. The former include post offices in Prague, Plzeň, Karlovy Vary, České Budějovice, Ústí nad Labem, Most, Liberec, Hradec Králové, Pardubice, Jihlava, Brno, Ostrava, Karviná, Třinec, Opava, Zlín, Olomouc and Prostějov.

Special notices are published by the Czech Post to inform customers about post offices open for business on public holidays which are not followed by a working day but, e.g. by another holiday, and their opening hours.
